This summer, we're helping bring the movies to our corner of West Town.

This movie night is presented by Rozich Law Group, LLC in partnership with the Eckhart Park Advisory Council: a free outdoor screening in the Chicago Park District's Movies in the Parks series — Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken at Eckhart Park on Thursday, September 10, right at the corner of Chicago and Noble, one block from our office.

About the Movie

If you haven't seen it, you're in for something special. Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken is inspired by true events: a young woman during the Great Depression runs away, talks her way into a traveling stunt show, and sets her sights on becoming a horse-diving performer. It's an underdog story about grit and refusing to let anyone else decide what you're capable of — and it's G-rated, so bring the whole family.

Our office sits at 742 N Ada Street, a block from Eckhart Park. We walk past this park every day. Our clients live and work in this neighborhood. When the chance came up to partner with the Eckhart Park Advisory Council and bring a night where West Town neighbors spread out blankets, kids run around before the show, and everyone watches a movie under the sky together — that was an easy yes.

Movies in the Parks is one of the best traditions Chicago summers have to offer, and it happens because of the people who show up for their parks year after year. Our thanks to our partners at the Eckhart Park Advisory Council and to the Chicago Park District for making this screening happen.

Attorney Lauren Rozich and the Rozich Law Group team will be at the park that evening — stop by our booth for giveaways and glow sticks for the kids. Lauren will offer a short welcome before the film starts. A greeting, not a speech — we promise the movie is the main event.

Tips for Movie Night in the Park

Arrive a little early. The lawn fills up as dusk gets close, and the pre-movie hour is half the fun.
Bring a blanket or low chairs. Low-backed chairs keep sightlines clear for the folks behind you.
Pack a picnic. Dinner on the grass beats dinner at the table in August.
Layer up. Chicago evenings cool off fast once the sun drops — even in August.
